1. Acceptance

By using Unsaid (ventunsaid.com) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Unsaid. Content may include strong language and mature themes.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not post targeted harassment, threats, or content identifying private individuals (names, phone numbers, addresses).
• Do not post hate speech, incitement to violence, sexual content involving minors, or anything illegal under the laws applicable to you.
• Do not spam, advertise, or attempt to manipulate, scrape, or attack the service.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you grant Unsaid a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display and distribute your content within the service. You can edit or delete your own posts from the device that created them.

5. Moderation

All posts and comments are screened by automated AI moderation and community reports. We may remove content or restrict access at our discretion, without notice, to keep the space safe.

6. Advertising

Unsaid is free and supported by advertising, including sponsored posts in the feed. Ads are labelled "Sponsored". We do not sell your personal information to advertisers.

7. No warranty & liability

The service is provided "as is". Unsaid is a venting platform, not professional, medical, legal, or financial advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for user-generated content or losses arising from use of the service.

What we don't collect

No name, email, phone number, or account. We do not ask who you are, and we cannot link posts to your real identity.

What is stored

• Your posts, comments, reactions, and reports, tied to a random anonymous ID (e.g. Anonymous_K3M9) generated and kept on your device.
• A random device token stored on your device, used only to let you edit or delete your own posts.
• Ad impressions and clicks, tied to the anonymous ID, used to measure ad performance.

Local storage

Unsaid uses your browser's local storage (not tracking cookies) to remember your anonymous ID, device token, and preferences. Clearing site data resets your identity permanently.

AI moderation

Post and comment text is checked by an automated AI moderation service solely to screen it against our safety rules before publishing. It is not used to identify you.

Third parties

We rely on trusted infrastructure providers for database hosting, content delivery, and security. If a third-party advertising network is active, it may use cookies to serve ads under its own policies.

Retention & deletion

Content stays until you delete it or it is removed by moderation. To request removal of specific content, contact [email protected] with a link or description.

Children

Unsaid is not directed at anyone under 16.

Data protection

We follow the principle of data minimisation found in the Nigeria Data Protection Act and comparable laws worldwide — the simplest way we protect your data is by collecting almost none of it, no matter where you use Unsaid from.
